Welcome - Benvenuti!

Welcome to this blog!

This blog accompanies the weather report webquest available at: (link to be added) and it can help as a reflection tool for students who complete it. Use the six blog entries that follow to reflect on your work, your learning and how you worked together as a group.

Your instructor can use this location to read about your experiences and your successes. Make sure you always use respectful language and remain positive. The task is supposed to be fun for everyone.

Happy learning!

Step One - Tappa Prima

This is the first step of your webquest. Maybe this is your first webquest. We hope you will find this task a very interesting one. The task asks you to work in groups and research information about a place and the weather and activities in that place. Consider how important the weather can be for you and how you would feel if you did not speak the language while visiting that place.

Reflect on the following:

  • do you feel you have understood the tasks to complete the webquest? explain
  • how do you plan to work together with people in your group? explain
  • which country did you guys agree upon doing the webquest on? explain

Step Two - Tappa Seconda

This is sort of the second step in your webquest. You are beginning to consider ways in which you can explain a weather situation in simple words, and relate activities to the weather. What seems to help you complete this task? How do you learn best? Explain.

Step Three - Tappa Terza

This was probably the most demanding step of the project. You worked together to write the script of your video. Considering this is a language task, you wanted to ensure you were communicating something meaningful, important and creative. How did you manage to work together at this step? How did people in your group encourage one another and created the final piece? How did you find support? What worked best?

Reflect

Step Four - Tappa Quarta

This must have been a really fun step in your quest. How did it feel? Did pictures help you with your vocabulary learning? Did you contribute some pictures to the final group? Do you think people will understand your message better by seeing the pictures as your group puts the reportage together? Explain.

Step Five - Tappa Quinta

You probably wanted to begin with this step all along and could not wait to put the video together. Now that the product is completed and "out there" how do you feel? What sense of accomplishment do you have? If any?

Consider at least one or two things you believe you have practically learned to put the video together and describe them below.

Six Step - Tappa Sesta

This was a final but important step. You worked together to ensure you give credit to all your sources and reference your work. This may have been your first time or maybe you are used to this practice. Consider the following:

  • Why do you think it is important to give credit to people's work?
  • How would you feel if someone used your work and did not recognize you?
